At Gamefester we played the game through on easy. We beat it.<span style=""> </span>We went on to <st1:place st="on">Normal</st1:place> mode. We beat that.<span style=""> </span>We went onto to God mode, and found that challenging but great.<span style=""> </span>We did this in a span of a week, and enjoyed every minute of it.<span style=""> </span>Even though you swear you get déjà vu after playing through it once, you continue on.<span style=""> </span>You strive you fight on, to beat the game to just see what rewards the programmers give you for defeating the game on the various modes.<span style=""> </span>And they are sweet. Oh sweet victory from my loins.<span style=""> </span>Oh sweet victory.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p><br />Gamefester found the greatest challenge being mortal.<span style=""> </span>Yes being mortal interferes with your playing time.<span style=""> </span>Why do I have to have a bladder?<span style=""> </span>Why do I have to go to work?<span style=""> </span>Why do I have to respond to falling asleep?<span style=""> </span>I mean we are not those Korean guys who just go at it, and end up falling on their keyboards dead from overgaming.<span style=""> </span>But hey, we try our best don’t we?<span style=""> </span>And there were plenty of Red Bulls, And Lo CARB Monster (another review coming on energy drinks) to fuel our hours of gaming.<span style=""> </span>Fuel, always important, always available.<span style=""> </span>Isn’t <st1:country-region st="on"><st1:place st="on">America</st1:place></st1:country-region> great when you get an energy drink immediately at anytime of day?</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p> <p class="MsoNormal"><u>God Of War</u> has the usual greatness about it, and the not so usual. From the first stage battling the Kraken, to the amazing City of <st1:city st="on"><st1:place st="on">Athens</st1:place></st1:City> being destroyed by a three hundred foot Ares (estimated at 300 ft.) you are transformed from mild mannered geek/gamer to WMD status in the blink of an eye.<span style=""> </span>You just thrill at the blood and guts and carnage you create with your Blades of Chaos.<span style=""> </span>You are amazed at the power coursing through your body as your Blast them with Posiedons Rage.<span style=""> </span>OH THE CARNAGE!!!!<span style=""> </span>And finally when you start getting those crazy attacks through blade upgrades, you begin to realize that beneath your skin, lies the heart of a Spartan, a God.<span style=""> </span>Spinning Blades of Chaos just slices through so many, and you just wish, just WISH that you could take those spinning blades and start from the beginning with all that you know.<span style=""> </span>The Carnage you would create!!!</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p><br />Overall, the review of this game is Ten Monster Energy Drinks out of Ten.<span style=""> </span>Two for sound, two for gameplay, two for carnage factor, two for controls, and two for background.<span style=""> </span>We didn’t include two for flinching.<span style=""> </span>But You get it, now go get it, and find yourself wanting more from this franchise.<span style=""> </span>GO IMMEDIATELY!!<span style=""> </span>Its probably $19.99, honestly, its cheap, and worth the price of admission.
